Canungra Hotel

What's not to like? We stayed overnight for a hot air balloon trip we were doing the following morning and it was a street over from the meeting point. The rooms are put together thoughtfully with a modern look that doesn't take away from the history the building holds. The common room with cosy couches, blankets and open fire place insists I come back in the winter just to enjoy it. Being able to walk downstairs to have dinner and drinks onsite was awesome and there were multiple bars and sitting areas to choose from that were all set up to suit whatever vibe you were after - sports bar, casual lounge, cocktail bar and beer garden. Each area was set up in such a way that you think you'd gone to a different place despite that they flowed into each other, they each hold their own space. And the beer garden was actually in a garden. The food was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. I honestly couldn't say a bad thing about it.

Very impressed right from the get go a staff member was there and helped out and showed me where to go to get checked in very friendly and helpful staff the room was above and beyond expectations everything was explained and I was left with having to not ask any questions at all very impressed

The location is great, close to shops cafe's etc. The restaurant is good with a wide variety of meals

Beautifully located close to O'Reilly's vineyard. We were there before for a wedding and now are planning our own. It's ideal to stay and hire all rooms above the pub and they offer a courtesy bus to transport guests back and for to the vineyards. Rooms itself are small, but all newly renovated and historically kept with ensuites and a/c, tv. everything you need. The pub is very close to town, so you can walk easily there. Staff is very helpful. There is also a community room with microwave, toaster and fridge, lounge facilities.

We really enjoyed our stay all the staff at the Hotel were fantastic. From Check in and onwards. Nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was great and the facilities were very good, very clean rooms/bathroom and the communal area was a great idea.
